After a few months of experimenting with programming for Windows Phone 7, but without really publishing the application, I decided to try to launch an application that would be published: Sports MTL. An application that allows you to know the status of various recreational/sports venues such as ice rinks, slides, and cross-country ski trails.

Development
Nothing spectacular, more of a first foray into WP7 application development. It allowed me to familiarize myself with the following concepts:
- The WP7 UI and highlighting text/data versus animations
- Connection management (e.g., unavailable network)
- Trial versions
- WP7 application translation
- Telerik controls for WP7 and the Silverlight Toolkit for WP7
There are still many things I want to do with this application, so stay tuned! I’m already on my 3rd version on the Marketplace ;)
