I recently ran into an old acquaintance who asked me what I was working on, which inspired this post. Don’t worry, I won’t spread my personal life!
During the day, I work as a developer at Alcero:
- I develop for Microsoft’s SharePoint 2010 platform, using Visual Studio 2012 and TFS 2012.
- Currently, I do a lot of jQuery, which I am learning to love or hate, depending on the tasks at hand.
- I try to look at what’s coming in the next version of SharePoint. You should too if you are currently working with SharePoint 2010.
- As mentioned in May, we participated in the Iron SharePoint at the SharePoint Summit in Toronto. You can see me presenting my team or presenting our solution on the last day (after more than 50 hours without sleep and my first presentation in English).
In my free time:
- I am finishing my last course of Master’s in Software Engineering and looking for my essay topic.
- I update my Windows Phone app Sports MTL.
- I installed Windows 8 on an old laptop and am getting used to the interface. The next step will be to make an app.
- In preparation for my Win8 app, I started looking at the new features of Windows Azure and catching up since the last time I played with it.
And you, what are you working on?
